It’s skincare created for actual, living skin. Our diehard repeat customers have historically lived with reactive, chronically dry, stressed skin. Our ingredients are oils and butters that have been used in culinary and medicinal practices for centuries.

Persephone’s Ball topicals are made to give human skin a break from the noise of unhelpful chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and unnecessary additives. Founded by a chef and grower with reactive skin, we approach skincare as a form of nourishment.

Face

The whip is back! We can only make and sell this balm when the temperatures are under 75° f. Made of raw cupuacu butter, cucumber oil, and meadow seed oil Face Balm is quick to absorb and melt at body temperature.

Cucumber oil is gentle and full of linoleic acid. Cupuacu butter is nourishing, protective, and moisturizing. Meadowfoam oil has long chain fatty acids essential for cellular construction.

When kept at 75° F, the balm is a lofty whip. When melted, Face Balm works just as well but it may leak.

  • Waterless, preservative free, and two ingredients. Face is made to give reactive skin less to react to. Rewild and heal.


    • Cupuacu (Theobroma grandiflorum) Butter

    • Kalahari Melon Oil (Citrulluslanatus) seed oil.

  • You’ll need warm, clean hands.

    Spoon a pea size amount of face into the palm of your hand. Add a teaspoon of distilled water and mix well.

    Massage in, starting at the cheekbones, moving up and then starting at the jawline and moving up and then working outward.

    Finally, use your fingers to firmly sweep the outline of your face from the forehead down to the neck to your collar bone.

Yarrow Hydrosol

Gently astringent and remarkably calming, this hydrosol becomes a daily essential for people with dry, irritated skin. Spritz on skin, hair, or into a dollop of Face balm.
