Shampoo Bars for All
Most of what Persephone's Ball has to offer will fall under the category of "I didn't know I needed it to be like that" until you find yourself almost out.
Our shampoo bars are like that. They are fun and sudsy but also, they make your hair feel clean and do fun things. This is according to the humans who (some skeptically) use them.
We have two kinds of shampoo bars. Softer bars work well will curly hair. The harder bars work well with straight hair. The softer bars take a few showers to produce bubbly lather, but the creamy lather is a consolation prize of suede bubbles.
Each bar includes Mafura seed oil – which accounts for the creamy lather. Some bars have a distinct grit – bamboo powder – which helps to scrub and exfoliate the scalp. Rinse super well.
In learning how to make shampoo, we realized that the most important part of shampoo bar is the ethical ingredient list. While we continue to learn about hair care and the science behind it all – we will continue to add our ingredients to a premade palm free shampoo base, It's a shampoo that stands out as better than anything we have the machinery (or the customer base that justifies that machinery) to make.
How to use: Wet hair and hands. Create lather with bar in hands. Lather hair with hands. Scrub and rinse well.
