Persephone’s Ball
Skincare (and other Goods) for mortals
Persephone’s Ball is a primal goods company for people who like their personal space as chemical free as possible. At the center of what we make is nourishing, minimal ingredient balms and hydrosols created by a chef and grower with reactive skin. Preservative free, ethically sourced, and made with ingredients extracted from edible plants – our products are designed to support cellular health and homeostasis.
Sublime is always simple
Celebrate the everyday, the mundane, and the must do’s in candle light,. Change the vibe of a room with a spritz of Ponderosa Pine, take a shower with a bar of soap that is both lovely and practical, give your skin the essentials it needs to regenerate and rebuild. Give yourself the gift of a luscious, naked moment.
botanical Distillates
Hydrosols for Skin and Atmosphere
We distill botanicals with water to create a vapor that contains the lightest of the plant’s helpful compounds and cleansing terpenes. Sounds super exciting, huh?
The vapor then condenses and returns to a liquid state and turns back into water.
But what do you do with this liquid?
We use our hydrosols for both skin and atmosphere care.
Our Yarrow hydrosol has become an essential for a small (but mighty) group of people. Our Ponderosa Pine Hydrosol, used for linens and small spaces, is a way of building a room’s signature scent – a strangely delightful primal hobby of humans and animals alike.

Bitte Bitte Leavenworth Boxes
Bitte Bitte Boxes are curated with the idea that the essentials should always be handmade.
Our Co op boxes contain our line of skincare essentials that, experienced together, feel like a kind of pragmatic luxury – a working bubble bath for those who have things to do.
Our Seasonal Bitte Bitte Boxes are filled with themed goods created by makers and artists from Leavenworth, Washington and beyond.
Waterless and restorative, our balms are limited to plant based, largely uncultivated, ingredients that have science behind them.
Why waterless? Turns out, our skin is water impermeable. It’s more like a stack of waxed canvas tarps than it is a sponge.
Also, skincare with water contains a broad spectrum preservative (it must). Broad spectrum preservatives do not see the difference between dangerous bacteria and fibroblasts – the collagen making cells in your epidermis.
Waterless balms are self-preserved and gentle on the skin.
